Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts.
Thich Nhat Hanh
BreathworkThrough conscious breathing, you can release anxiety, tension, regulate emotions, and reconnect with your natural wellbeing. Breathwork gives you direct access to your own inner calm.
For thousands of years, cultures around the world have used breathwork to shift physical, emotional, and mental states. From ancient yogic practices like Pranayama to modern therapeutic approaches, conscious breathing offers a direct pathway to greater wellbeing.
Modern life often keeps us in a constant state of alert, triggering high adrenaline levels and shallow breathing. This over-activates the mind, disconnecting us from our bodies and contributing to symptoms such as anxiety, depression, poor sleep, increased heart rate, adrenal fatigue and a stressed nervous system—making it difficult to stay present and healthy.
Wellbeing Breathwork calms and re-sets the nervous system allowing previously held tension and emotions to be processed with the power of your own breath.

AboutHello.
My name is Athene.
I’m a Bristol-based breathwork practitioner offering group, individual sessions and workshops.
I began my training in wellbeing and complementary therapies early on, working across a variety of settings throughout Bristol.
Today, my work blends breathwork with NLP and Reiki to support stress release, nervous system regulation, and a deeper connection with your own inner resources. Through these practices, I support people to feel more balanced, resilient, and at ease in their bodies and lives.
My first experience of breathwork was deeply empowering. It showed me how I could shift the way I worked and felt using my own breath, bringing a sense of liberation, clarity, and ease. This experience continues to shape both my personal practice and the way I work with others.
I use breathwork daily to support inner calm, restore balance, and awaken energy. Supporting others to reconnect with the power of their own breath is something I consider both a joy and a privilege.
I offer my work through group and individual sessions, and workshops.

One on OneBreathe with intention, calm your mind, and restore balance. Conscious breathwork is a simple yet powerful way to ease stress, anxiety and reconnect with yourself.
In a one-to-one session, we begin by exploring where you are right now—physically, emotionally, your overall wellbeing—and where you’d like to be.
Each session is tailored to your unique needs. Together we’ll practise simple breathing techniques to help reset your nervous system, creating a sense of calm, safety, and balance. We may then move into a longer guided practice called Conscious Connected Breathing. This can take place either sitting up or lying down, depending on what feels most comfortable for you.
After the guided breathing, there is space for you to share your experiences and feelings. We’ll also take time to discuss next steps and ways to continue supporting your wellbeing journey.
For the deepest benefit, I usually recommend beginning with a series of three weekly sessions. Ongoing sessions typically last around one hour.
